Rosebud is a Gem!!  Her foster dad gives her 5 STARS!!

She is a gentle soul who is looking for a forever home that will help her with her weight loss goal.  A doxie savvy home that understands that obesity and stairs are not good for Doxies. Rosie is obese at 23 pounds and needs to get down to a healthy 15 pounds.  Portion control and exercise is key.  She is scheduled for a dental and will be ready to go home on March 1st.

Due to her weight we are looking for a doxie savvy home, one level living is ideal and a ramp is a bonus!  Rosie is not easily picked up and carrying her up a flight of stairs will not be easy.  Condo/apartment living with an elevator?  Sure!!

Rosie loves to cuddle or lay in a sunspot for a nap.  She does do well with other dogs (NO CATS) but would do equally well being an only pup with an owner that is home more time than not.  She would be ideal for an active senior.
