Stevie Fluffernutter (Fluffa)  came to us from a local animal control officer after he was found abandoned,  severely matted,   in a cemetery during a recent heatwave.

Fluffa is  BLIND,  approximately  10 years of age, and  13 pounds of AWESOME!    There are so many great things to say about Stevie Fluffernutter   He Is housetrained, loves to go outside, great snuggler, does well in the car, enjoys a good belly rub and sleeping in the big bed.  He will NOT tolerate a crate, however he does very well free roam.   Ideally, a one level home is preferred, but gates to prevent him from falling down the stairs would work.  He has learned to use ramps to get in and out of his foster home.  The absence of ramps would require him to be carried up and down stairs.  He does prefer to sleep in the big bed, but does ok in his bed nearby.   A home where his alone time is minimal is preferred.  

A home with no other dogs is preferred.  He has a habit of bumping into other foster pups and some just don’t appreciate the interaction.

Since he arrived at PADR,  he has been groomed, vetted and had a dental.  He  is now ready to go to his forever  home.

Fluffa did well at the groomers considering how matted he was.  They had to keep giving him breaks because he would have a temper tantrum.  Who wouldn’t get a little cranky being at the salon for 5 hours?  Now that he is groomed, a regular grooming session should not be a problem. 

Fluffa is a great boy and would be a wonderful lifetime companion for an experienced and committed guardian.
